Herbal Medicine

A health consultation is a comprehensive review of your horses medical history, environmental exposure, feeding/paddock management, constitution, current issues etc. that allows me to unravel all of those layers to determine a protocol that will help your horse move forward in good health.  The approach of naturopathic medicine is to provide an individualised focussed, holistic system to find and address the underlying cause of disease.

A health consultation can be to:

*. help prevent or manage ill health.

*. Provide additional support along-side veterinary care and medications.

*. Treat a specific health condition or concern.

As a holistic approach treatments may consist of:

*. Liquid, or dried herbs.

*. Supplements.

*. Nutrition.

*. Homeobotanicals.

*. Homeopathy.

*. Paddock management/general lifestyle recommendations.

*. Bodywork.

*. And lots of extra education and information that you may need .

My consultation fee covers my time to meet with you (in person/or online) to ask an array of questions! To find out about your concerns for your horse, your goals and expectations.  I'll then work on providing you with a treatment plan.  It is recommended that we follow up in 4 weeks to review and to tweak or make changes if necessary.  Sooner if your horse has an acute condition.

BICOM BIORESONANCE THERAPY

Common Health Concerns in Horses.

Horses are magnificent creatures, but they also face a variety of health challenges. Some of the most common issues that affect horses include:

  • Musculoskeletal injuries (e.g., sprains, strains, tendon and ligament tears)

  • Arthritis and joint pain

  • Inflammation from overexertion or trauma

  • Digestive disorders (e.g., colic, ulcers)

  • Respiratory problems (e.g., heaves, infections)

  • Skin conditions (e.g., wounds, infections, and irritations)

  •

Many of these issues can be treated with frequency medicine, offering a non-invasive alternative to pharmaceuticals and surgery.

Traditional Treatments vs. Frequency Medicine

Traditional veterinary medicine often relies on pharmaceuticals, surgeries, and physical therapies to treat horses. While these methods can be effective, they also come with risks, side effects, and costs. Frequency medicine, on the other hand, offers a gentler approach that works in harmony with the horse’s own healing mechanisms.

While conventional treatments are often necessary for serious conditions, frequency therapy can be a valuable adjunct to these treatments, speeding up recovery, reducing the need for pain medications, and improving overall health.

CLASSICAL DRESSAGE TRAINING

When one talks about classical dressage it brings pictures to the mind of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art or the famous Lipizzaners of Austria, performing acts of beauty dancing under saddle or on the ground with their riders at their side.  I discovered classical dressage 20 years ago and from the moment I saw those horses performing movements in hand of shoulder in, half pass, travers, etc. all at walk and trot, and then into piaffe, passage and the high school movements of levade I was hooked.  I studied and trained intensively.  I loved the transition from the ground into the work under saddle so effortlessly and while I loved to ride these movements in complete harmony with my own horse my passion was the in hand work.

Of course it wasn't just about creating these movements, it pathed the way to handle my horses on the ground in normal day to day activities with ease and mutual respect of each other.  I later became to see how it wasn't just for dressage training it could help owners and horses build trust and respect, create everlasting bonds, help with normal handling of their horses, bring about confidence from horse and owner.  It enabled the owner to see the horse in its purest form, unhindered by gear and a rider and to see their struggles, their weakness, their muscle imbalances and then enable the owner to work to strengthen, to balance and give confidence to their equine partners.

Classical in hand training can be used to rehabilitate a horse, strengthen and balance muscle weaknesses, create harmonious relationships with their owners, it can be used for dressage training before and in concert with work under saddle, it is for the owner who can't ride themselves or the horse can't be ridden but can still work in hand, it is a discipline that can be used to create trust and later work at liberty.  Or simply, if you haven't time to ride you can still put in 15mins and still done something of value with your horse!
