Terms & Conditions

Naturopathy in Balance

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Naturopathy in Balance, including naturopathic consultations, BICOM bioresonance therapy, live and dry blood analysis, herbal medicine, and related health services.

By booking an appointment or engaging with the clinic’s services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment

All appointments are secured with payment at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed.

Follow-up appointments may be paid at the time of booking or on the day of your consultation.

Payment is processed securely through the clinic’s booking system.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you.

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: your appointment may be rescheduled or credited.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: a 50% cancellation fee may apply.

  • Same-day cancellations or missed appointments (no-shows): the full appointment fee is charged.

If you are unwell or something unexpected arises, please contact the clinic as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to be fair and reasonable.

3. Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your consultation time may be shortened to avoid delaying other clients. The full appointment fee still applies.

4. Scope of Practice

Services provided by Naturopathy in Balance are complementary and holistic in nature.

Naturopathic consultations, herbal medicine, BICOM bioresonance, and live and dry blood analysis are intended to support general health and wellbeing.

These services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.

Clients are advised to seek appropriate medical care from a registered medical practitioner for any urgent or serious health concerns.

5. BICOM Bioresonance Therapy

BICOM bioresonance therapy is a complementary, non-invasive therapy that works with the body’s energetic and regulatory systems to support overall health and wellbeing.

It is used as a supportive modality to assist with stress, immune regulation, sensitivities, and general health balance.

BICOM therapy:

  • is not a diagnostic medical test

  • does not replace medical investigations or laboratory testing

  • is not a substitute for medical treatment or emergency care

All information obtained during BICOM sessions is used to support a holistic assessment of the body’s current stressors and regulatory patterns, and to guide complementary health support.

By proceeding with BICOM sessions, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • you understand BICOM is a complementary therapy

  • you will continue to seek medical care from your GP or specialist where appropriate

  • you accept responsibility for your own health decisions and how you apply any recommendations given

If you have any concerns about your health, medications, or existing conditions, you are encouraged to discuss these with your medical practitioner.

6. Live & Dry Blood Analysis

Live and dry blood analysis are observational and educational tools used to provide insight into overall health patterns.

They are not diagnostic medical tests and do not replace laboratory pathology testing or medical advice.

7. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information, including:

  • medical conditions

  • medications

  • supplements

  • allergies

  • pregnancy or breastfeeding status

Clients are responsible for their own health decisions and agree to use their discretion when implementing any recommendations.

8. Results Disclaimer

Every person’s health situation is unique.

While professional care and individualised recommendations are provided, results cannot be guaranteed, and outcomes will vary between individuals.

Healing is a collaborative process that depends on many factors, including lifestyle, environment, and adherence to recommendations.

9. Supplements and Herbal Products

Any supplements or herbal products recommended are provided based on the information supplied during consultation.

Clients are responsible for:

  • checking for allergies or sensitivities

  • following dosage instructions

  • consulting with their GP or pharmacist regarding potential interactions with medications

Naturopathy in Balance is not liable for misuse of products or for reactions arising from undisclosed health information.

10. Privacy

Your personal and health information is handled in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the clinic’s Privacy Policy.

By booking an appointment, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Naturopathy in Balance is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of services, products, or information provided, except where required by law.

Clients accept responsibility for their own health choices and understand that complementary therapies are used as part of a broader wellness approach.

12. Intellectual Property

All written materials provided by the clinic, including reports, protocols, treatment plans, and educational content, remain the intellectual property of Naturopathy in Balance and are for personal use only. They may not be copied, shared, or reproduced without permission.

13. Changes to Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on the clinic’s website.
