BICOM Bioresonance Therapy is a non-invasive, frequency-based therapy that originated in Germany over 30 years ago. Developed by Regumed the BICOM device has since been used in over 90 countries by integrative practitioners, veterinarians, and equine therapists seeking answers where traditional treatments have reached their limit.
At its core BICOM uses the horse’s own electromagnetic frequencies filtering out disruptive patterns (such as those from pathogens, allergens, toxins, or emotional stress) and strengthening healthy resonance patterns. This process supports the body’s natural healing abilities, encouraging detoxification, immune regulation, pain relief, and energetic balance.
Energetic Testing with BICOM: Going Beyond the Physical
One of BICOM’s most powerful features is its testing capability. Using a hand-held tensor, matrix test sets, or frequency ampoules, we can evaluate how the body energetically responds to hundreds of potential stressors. This can include:
Parasites, mycotoxins, viruses, and bacteria (including Lyme/co-infections)
Food sensitivities and intolerances (often missed in conventional testing)
Environmental toxins such as pesticides, heavy metals, or EMF sensitivity
Scar interference fields, emotional blockages, or chronic inflammation markers
Organ stress, connective tissue strain, or metabolic imbalances

These tests don't diagnose in the conventional sense but they highlight areas of stress or energetic weakness that may be blocking recovery or contributing to chronic symptoms. This gives you and your practitioner a clearer, more holistic roadmap to healing.
Why Horses Respond So Well
Horses are highly sensitive and responsive to energy fields. Their nervous systems are finely tuned to subtle changes making them ideal candidates for frequency-based therapy. BICOM has been used in cases where:
Chronic laminitis persists despite dietary and pharmaceutical control
Antibiotics or antifungals are no longer effective or well-tolerated
Behavioural or emotional imbalances arise after trauma or intense competition
Gut issues, weight loss, or energy dips appear without clear diagnostic cause
What Veterinarians Are Saying
Equine Vet, Germany:"We had a gelding with chronic dermatitis and digestive upset for over a year. Bloods were inconclusive, and diet trials didn’t help. After six sessions of BICOM therapy, he regained his condition, coat improved, and his temperament calmed. We now use BICOM as a supportive tool in complex cases."
Equine Surgeon, Austria:"When a mare with recurring tendon inflammation stopped responding to injections, we introduced BICOM alongside rehab. The inflammation markers dropped significantly, and recovery time halved compared to previous injuries."
Veterinary Integrative Practitioner, UK:"For horses with laminitis that don’t stabilise on low-sugar diets and pain relief alone, BICOM has been a game-changer. It helps address hidden factors — such as glyphosate load, gut flora imbalance, or liver stress that traditional bloodwork often misses."
Note:
BICOM is not a magic wand. It’s not a replacement for emergency care, diagnostics, or surgical interventions. But when you have “tried everything,” it offers a new lens that looks beyond symptoms to the frequency patterns beneath.
